Tasha Cobbs Leonard released “The Moment”, the first single from her new live-recorded album HYMNS, on October 7th via Motown Gospel. This new song is the perfect combination of so many layers of harmonies and nuanced vocals that swell and eventually explode in a gala of pure praise and adoration.
Earlier this year, Cobbs Leonard hosted a live album recording in Chicago that was attended by friends, family and fans. This new LP is beloved by the musician because it consists mostly of hymns and church standards she’d heard since childhood, but now reinterpreted for a new generation.
HYMNS has a host of guests that help make the album one of the must-go gospel projects of the year. The upcoming 24 tracks feature cameos from Mary Mary, The Walls Group, Natalie Grant, Kierra Sheard and more.
HYMNS is the follow-up to Tasha Cobb Leonard’s 2020 chart-topping album ROYALTY (Live At The Ryman).
